Pilates is a non-impact workout suitable for all levels of fitness which focuses on training the abdominal and other deep muscles of the ‘core’ (trunk) of the body to work efficiently and integrates mind and body during the workout. Muscles are lengthened and strengthened. There is a focus on breathing which aids concentration and helps lower stress levels. |
