Our Wednesday Night Discipleship Group shared in a worship activity recently where we reflected on Psalm 136. After reading the Psalm, we each focused on one or two lines to write for ourselves. We then put these together to make our own Psalm. We hope that you will be reminded of God's enduring love through our reflections and praise.
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is gracious; His love endures forever
who alone is almighty; His love endures forever
who created the Heavens and the earth; His love endures forever
who made Israel slaves no more; His love endures forever
Give thanks to God, for He is understanding and forgiving; His love endures forever
who loves peace and justice; His love endures forever
who protects us from the swine flu; His love endures forever
who promises salvation and eternal joy; His love endures forever
Give thanks for the Lord, for He is more powerful than we will ever know; His love endures forever
who does forgive us when we ask; His love endures forever
who made the dewdrops and the mountains; His love endures forever
who sustains all living things; His love endures forever
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is always loving; His love endures forever
who by His Son, shows us His perfect love; His love endures forever
who laughs and smiles with others in times of joy; His love endures forever
who weeps for the world that's lost without Him; His love endures forever
